And entering into the boat, He passed over and came to His own city.

And, behold! They were bringing a paralytic lying on a cot to Him. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed one , Be comforted, child. Your sins have been remitted.

And, behold, some of the scribes said within themselves, This One blasphemes.

And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

For what is easier, to say, Your sins are remitted, or to say, Rise up and walk?

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to remit sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house.

And rising up, he went away to his house.

And seeing, the crowds marveled, and they glorified God, the One giving such authority to men.

And passing from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. And rising up, he followed Him.

And it happened as He reclined in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, these were reclining with Jesus and His disciples.

And seeing, the Pharisees said to His disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?

But Jesus hearing, He said to them, The ones being strong have no need of a healer, but the ones having illness.

But going, learn what this is , "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones , but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6

Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast much, and Your disciples do not fast?

And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken from them, and then they will fast.

But no one puts a piece of new cloth onto an old garment. For its filling up takes away from the garment, and a worse tear takes its place.

Nor do they put new wine into old skins; otherwise, the skins are burst, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be ruined. But they put new wine into fresh skins, and both are preserved together.

As He was speaking these things to them, behold, one ruler coming worshiped before Him, saying, My daughter has just now died; but coming lay Your hand on her, and she will live.

And rising up, Jesus and His disciples followed him.
Matthew 9:20

And behold, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came near behind Him, and touched the fringe of His robe.

For she said within herself, If only I shall touch His robe, I will be cured.

But turning and seeing her, Jesus said, Be comforted, daughter; your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed from that hour.

And Jesus coming into the house of the ruler, and seeing the flute-players and the crowd causing a tumult,

He says to them, Go back, for the little girl has not died, but she sleeps. And they laughed at Him.

But when the crowd had been put out, entering He took hold of her hand, and the little girl rose up.

And this report went out into all that land.

And Jesus passing on from there, two blind ones followed Him, crying and saying, Have pity on us, Son of David.

And coming into the house, the blind ones came near to Him. And Jesus says to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? And they said to Him, Yes, Lord.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith let it be to you.
Matthew 9:30

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly ordered them, saying, See, let no one know.

But going out, they made Him known in all that land.

And as they were going out, behold, they brought to Him a dumb man having been possessed by a demon.

And the demon being cast out, the dumb one spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, Never was it seen this way in Israel.

But the Pharisees said, He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.

And Jesus went about all the cities and the villages teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every weakness of body among the people.

And seeing the crowds, He was moved with pity concerning them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is great, but the workers few.

Pray then that the Lord of the harvest may send out workers into His harvest.

And having called His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast out, and to heal every disease and every weakness of body.

And the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon who is called Peter and his brother Andrew, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John,

Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbaeus, whose last name was Thaddaeus,

Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
Matthew 10:5

Jesus sent these twelve out, charging them, saying: Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not go into a Samaritan city.
Matthew 10:6

But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And going on, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of Heaven has drawn near.

Heal sick ones, cleanse lepers, raise dead ones, cast out demons. You freely received, freely give.
Matthew 10:9

Do not provide gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts,
Matthew 10:10

nor provision bag for the road, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staves. For the worker is worthy of his food.

And into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is worthy; and remain there until you go out.
Matthew 10:12

But entering into the house, greet it;
Matthew 10:13

and if the house truly is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Matthew 10:14

And whoever will not receive you, nor will hear your words, having gone out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Truly I say to you, It will be more bearable to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in Judgment Day than for that city.
Matthew 10:16

Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:17

But beware of men. For they will betray you to sanhedrins, and they will flog you in their synagogues.
Matthew 10:18

And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you should say, for it is given to you in that hour what you should say.

For you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
Matthew 10:21

But brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child. And children will rise up against parents and will put them to death.

And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one enduring to the end shall be kept safe.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, In no way will you have finished the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above his lord.
Matthew 10:25

It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more those of his household?
Matthew 10:26

Therefore, you should not fear them, for nothing is covered which will not be uncovered; and hidden, which will not be made known.
Matthew 10:27

What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
Matthew 10:28

And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father.
Matthew 10:30

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

Then do not fear; you are better than many sparrows.

Then everyone who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in Heaven.
Matthew 10:33

But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father in Heaven.

Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

I came to divide a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a bride against her mother-in-law.

"Ones hostile to the man shall be those of his own house." Mic. 7:6

The one loving father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And the one loving son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
Matthew 10:38

And who does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
Matthew 10:39

The one finding his life shall lose it. And the one losing his life on account of Me shall find it.

The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me.

The one receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one receiving a just one in the name of a just one will receive a just one's reward.

And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to drink to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, In no way will he lose his reward.
